Licensed Professional Counselor

Elegant Golden Lotus Divider.png

Lindsey Jennings is a Licensed Professional Counselor and graduate of Nicholls State University, where she earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2019. With approximately a decade of experience in the mental health field, Lindsey brings a compassionate, individualized approach to her clinical practice.

Her therapeutic philosophy is rooted in integrative counseling, recognizing that each individual brings unique experiences, challenges, strengths, and goals to the therapeutic relationship. Rather than relying on a single treatment approach, Lindsey draws upon a variety of therapeutic techniques to develop care that is responsive to each client's needs.

Lindsey incorporates Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) into her clinical work to support individuals processing distressing experiences and trauma-related concerns. Her approach emphasizes emotional safety, collaboration, and helping clients develop greater insight and resilience.

Lindsey provides individual counseling for adults navigating emotional challenges, trauma-related concerns, and significant life transitions. Drawing upon integrative psychotherapy, Choice Theory, and her training in EMDR, she emphasizes collaboration, personal responsibility, and the development of meaningful, sustainable change. Her goal is to create a supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.
